1979 World Jamboree USA Pocket Patch – Iran
The 1979 World Jamboree was scheduled to be held in the country of Iran but, due to the Iranian Revolution and the hostage crisis that year, the World Scouting Organization cancelled the event. The event was held in Sweden and was called Dalajamb and it took the position of the 15th Boy Scout World Jamboree.
There were only a few World Jamboree patches issued to the Boy Scouts in America who had signed up to attend. This is a highly collectible Boy Scout patch.
